Atividades expressivas na educação pré-escolar
| Resumo: | Artistic Expression is the core as far as acquiring skills and abilities by young children is concerned. In fact, when we regard youngster’s development as a whole, we become aware that artistic activities must be set down in kindergarten. The purpose of this study is to analyse the role played by the Artistic Expressions within Preschool Education. Therefore, in the theoretic conceptual framework we research on the importance of well-planned artistic sessions towards the infants enhacement and behavioral construct both as an individual and as a citizen to be. This research was focused on the point of view on this subject born in mind by six Educators, from two types of schools, one Public and one Private, who shared their knowledge, experiences and concerns on this subject. By the analysis of the data obtained through the interviews and supported by theoretical consultation, we found that Educators do give importance to the Artistic activities and consider them as essential to the intellectual, social and physical development of children. Since the most common activities area is Arts, we believe that it is necessary to direct efforts towards the formation of Educators in fields such as Drama and Music, as an answer to the children’s needs and in order to develop youngsters as a whole |
