Google Earth computer. From a population of 126 firefighters, a sample of 30, mostly male, and all of Portuguese nationality resulted. Most are from Portimão (57%). The Portimão Fire Department headquarters can be a temporary shelter for their firefighters and their relatives, and they say that it will contribute to increasing their willingness to integrate a disaster response mechanism. In order to maximize the contribution of this shelter, it is essential that all firefighters establish a family emergency plan.
