O desenho como instrumento de análise - três casa de Coderch.

Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:This work sets as its subject three-family homes, designed by Coderch in holiday resorts of Catalonia built around the fifties and sixties of the twentieth century. Despite the time elapsed, these houses continue to be studied and published. In Coderch, all architectural features supersede themselves: a window is not just a window, a patio is not just a patio, a wall is not just a mere construction ... and its architecture is more than a simple game of distribution of yards, light and shadow. One perceives a particular focus on the design of the environments of everyday life and great rigor in the choice of materials. Through this analysis, we decided to explore the discourses of composition that characterizes the work of this architect. Through consolidation, repetition of these same forms, it is then possible to construct a set of grammatical references, to which this architect resorts. Therefore one aims at organizing knowledge about the built form as such, and also as a project tool. Indeed, even fleeing from fashions and trends, and perhaps as a consequence of this attitude, Coderch reaches a remarkable geniality, won by an emphasis in sdrawing which reflects a remarkable commitment to his work. It's just that I most admire in his works: respect, honest, visionary who lived his architecture just as his life. With dedication, simplicity and restraint and with a great ability to listen and interpret the wishes of his clients. Someone who, besides being extremely knowledgeable of his craft, remained attentive and sensitive to the reality around him.
