| Summary: | The goal of this report is to present the work done in an internship context; this was implemented from October 2013 until June 2014 in a kindergarten placed in Carnide. The supervised teaching practice began with an observation period, aiming to characterize the group and planning interventions. The second phase was characterized by the implementation of the defined priority intervention area, the Knowledge of the World. This selection was made due to the fact, that the group of children has showed interest in the various activities allusive to the related domains, which constitute the Knowledge of the World. Through the interventions, it was possible to approach many concepts related with the environment in which the children Group was inserted, as well as learn a little more of its characteristics and clarify all the existing doubts. Also, the aim was that over the time, the group could become aware and recognize their social group, their customs and traditions. Over the time it was possible to detect an evolution in the group, regarding the Knowledge of the world area, through the implemented strategies and activities Thus all the approached elements worked as a stimulus for curiosity, and over the time all the children curiosities about the theme were answered |
