Relatos de uma estudante-estagiária rumo à grande aventura da sua vida: a profissionalização docente
| Summary: | This internship report was written as part of the "Professional Internship" course, which is part of the syllabus for the second year of the Master's Degree in Teaching Physical Education in Primary and Secondary Education at the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto. This experience gave me first-hand contact with teaching and allowed me to develop my professional and personal skills. On a professional level, it provided me with various pedagogical tools to put into practice in my future as a Physical Education teacher. On a personal level, it was a process that allowed me to develop my interpersonal skills and bridge the gap between theory and what happens on a daily basis in teaching. This internship allowed me to implement teaching strategies that were different from the conventional ones I experienced as a student, and now as a teacher I have been able to change those paradigms and use them as a source of what not to do in class. I tried to focus my interactions with the students on their active participation in the teaching-learning process. When planning the lessons, they were thought out and structured after getting to know and reflecting on what encouraged the group. Even so and considering the unpredictability that can arise from a group that is not very motivated. |
