It is an approach to the EU's exposure increased compared to traditional competitors like USA and Japan and, despite its strong stability globally in various technologies. It also made reference to efforts to identify what the EU does to detect areas of innovation where they should focus their efforts in order to stimulate economic growth and job creation. It presented a theoretical model that was developed in order to analyze the relationship between competiveness and innovative capacity of ANA, SA with possible increments in terms of quality, environment and safety in relation to established relationships with business partners, competitors and technologies integrated in innovation networks in all variables. It is highlighted in this paper the importance and relevance that ANA puts on the approach of that company with the scientific and educational institutions, as well as its policy of information sharing between airport managers from other Member States beyond the effort with investment in research and innovation, anticipating thus the market needs by adopting a strategic vision and to increase its competitiveness. At the end of the paper reference is made to the SESAR project referencing itself as the technological pillar of the SES implementation, the most important technological program between the public and private sectors in the field of air traffic management (ATM) ever launched by the EU and the importance of the involvement of industry in this area.
