Resumo:	Comparative re-reading of both Cl. Simon and J-M. G. Le Clézio’s speeches at Stockholm Nobel prize reward ceremony makes it clear that there is a diametrically opposed approach of narrative fiction between them which allows us to measure the distance and mutation in process within French and francophone literary field for about twenty years. It also shows a changing point as far as the way France sees itself or is seen elsewhere is concerned.
