Biblioterapia aplicada em contexto de saúde mental: um estudo de caso
| Summary: | This Dissertation is about applying Bibliotherapy in a Mental Health context, to a group of adult people with psychosocial needs, with ages comprised between 21 and 49, who attend the service “Área de Dia”, of UCCPO of CHPL. Six sessions have taken place, each one with a different thematic. The Menthor had previously chosen a text accordingly with the thematic of the session. It was observed that the participants felt the need of opening their hearts concerning their personal problems. Whenever the text revealed to be more profound, and accomplished of music, the participants were likelier to talk about them in a more involved manner (4th session). This implies that profound texts and music may be a good help to develop debates centered on personal issues of the patients. It was also remarkable that one must be careful in choosing the texts for each session of Bibliotherapy. The sensitiveness of the participants mustn’t ever be overlooked, in order to achieve success during the session (session 2). It was visible that there was a great projection of each participant into the texts and into their written commentaries. Thus, it was possible to know a bit more about them through their oral and written products. The reaction of the participants to the sessions was quite positive. We believe that Bibliotherapy may be applied in the future in the UCCPO, since it clearly is a benefit on the patients treatment and rehabilitation. |
