| Descrição | A Lusíadas Scientific Journal é a revista científica do Grupo Lusíadas Saúde. A missão da Lusíadas Scientific Journal é fornecer aos médicos e outros profissionais de saúde a melhor investigação e informação na intersecção da ciência biomédica e da prática clínica, apresentar esta informação em formatos compreensíveis e clinicamente úteis que influenciem a prestação de cuidados de saúde melhorando os resultados dos doentes. A Lusíadas Scientific Journal esforça-se por publicar artigos que sejam estimulantes, educativos e informem sobre a investigação mais atual que nos conduzam a mudanças positivas nos sistemas de saúde e na forma como os cuidados de saúde são prestados. Além disso, para assegurar qualidade e relevância científica, a revista tem um Conselho Editorial distinto e internacional e só aceita artigos que tenham passado por um rigoroso processo de revisão duplamente cego, um procedimento que protege a imparcialidade do processo de seleção. A Lusíadas Scientific Journal publica artigos de preferência em inglês. Por conseguinte, os artigos devem ser submetidos em inglês (excecionalmente em português de Portugal). |

| Resumo: | Lusíadas Scientific Journal (Lusíadas Sci J), the scientific journal of Lusíadas Saúde Group. The mission of Lusíadas Sci J is to provide physicians and other healthcare professionals with the best research and information at the intersection of biomedical science and clinical practice and to present this information in understandable and clinically useful formats that influence healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes. Lusíadas Sci J strives to publish articles that are exciting to read, educate and inform readers with the most up-to-date research, and lead to positive changes in healthcare systems and in the way patient care is delivered. Furthermore, to ensure quality and scientific relevance, the journal has a distinguished and international Editorial Board and accepts only articles that have been through a rigorous double-blind review process, a procedure that protects the impartiality of the selection process. Lusíadas Sci J publishes articles preferably in English. Therefore, articles should be submitted in English (exceptionally in Portuguese from Portugal). |
