| Summary: | The public contests of architecture promote the discussion of problems with which the discipline is confronted. However, we did not find any survey of the role that these procedures had in Portugal.Perante the need for answers in this field of professional practice will incorporate some of the knowledge generated in previous experiences.The research intends, by raising the legacy left by the participation of successive generations of architects in competitions, to analyze the confrontation of ideas that these projects originated, in order to recover and incorporate this conceptual heritage in the understanding and practice of the project. |
