Materialização e integração: uma habitação de estudantes na Escarpa das Fontainhas

Resumo:The integration of a building with its surroundings can be done in different ways, depending on the type of connection intended for it. The present dissertation focuses on the materialization as a way of connecting the image of the proposal from Projeto V, a Student Housing in Escarpa das Fontainhas, with its surroundings. This dissertation studies the coating materials found in buildings within the area delimited by Muralha Fernandina, Avenida Gustavo Eiffel, Calçada das Carquejeiras, Passeio das Fontainhas and Largo Actor Dias. In this study, the coatings of buildings will be analysed at an individual level, where each building is seen in its singularity, and at a collective level, where the buildings are seen as a whole. An analysis is also made of Tiles and Plaster, in order to observe the advantages and disadvantages of their use and the different finishes and textures they present. Finally, is shown the evolution of the materialization of the project proposal, based on the information studied, to show how the material thought for the student housing has changed with the evolution of this study and what were the materials that were decided to use in the final proposal, knowing that the main goal was the integration between the surroundings and the project.
