Bibliographic Details
Summary:Whether in printed or digitally pixelated pigment, color has been used as an important element for the corporate identity of companies and brands, however, it is an ignored factor in the blogosphere. Nowadays, with the possibilities within the Internet, available to its users, regarding the creation and manipulation of websites or blogs, the various digital platforms become similar, making it difficult to distinguish between them, and therefore between users. Thus, the purpose of this dissertation is to investigate the importance of color in digital media. With a sample of 125 subjects between the ages of 18 and 64, an online questionnaire was used to reflect on whether the blue color of the blog "soumesmojosé" is an element of preference over other blogs. The PANAS (Panas; Galinha & Pais-Ribeiro, 2005) scale was used to assess positive and negative affection from the emotional report. The results indicate that blue was the most preferred color compared to nine colors. Regarding emotions, the subjects were more readily assertive when questioned with negative emotions, with most of the sample agreeing that blue is a color that does not transmit negative emotions
