| Resumo: | The dissertation aims to analyze the flaws in the operational procedures and propose the reduction of the number of operational stops in the area of beam exit of the long steel rolling mill of SINOBRAS, in the city of Marabá - Brazil, creating and implementing operational standards. Specifically, we sought to evaluate how much the company failed to earn and how much it influenced the cost of the product; understand how the degree of knowledge of employees negatively influences the production process; to evaluate the contribution of managers to reduce the incidence of operational shutdowns at SINOBRAS in Marabá - Brazil. The methodological procedure used was the quantitative and qualitative approach through bibliographic research, field research and structured interviews, participant observation of the research. It will be proposed to reduce the time of the operational shutdowns in the area of SINOBRAS Lamination beam output after the end of the work, increasing the productivity of the area. The reduction in operational downtime is 62% compared between 2015 and 2016. As a result, the increase in productivity and profit was R$ 2.341.650,00. |
