Comparação da mobilidade articular, com base no "Deep Squat" em praticantes de musculação e treino funcional
| Resumo: | Fitness reality is in constantly transformation. There are too many offers of training sessions and usually the amount of them aren´t compatible with the service quality witch is supposed to provide. In this study i will talk about two different types of workout: bodybuilding and functional training. The goal of this study is verify if it has significative differences in the articulation mobility between bodybuilders and functional trainers. The study included 62 persons, which 36 were women and 26 whith a mean age of 25.7 years. They performed Deep Squats (DS) following the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) protocol. This exercise was recorded in order to proceed the evaluation which allows me to evaluate the bilateral and symmetrical mobility and functional mobility of the knees, hips, ankles and shoulders, as well the thoracic spine. The data base were treated based on descriptive statistics, mean and standard deviation. The comparison was made based on the independent test measures, and the level of significance was p<(0.05). It was concluded that functional trainers presented a less difficult in the Deep Squat execution comparing with the bodybuilders. Accordingly, the obtained results allows me to claim that the functional trainers have an increased articulation mobility in the execution of complex movements. |
