A motivação para aprender em crianças dos 6 aos 10 anos: Que fatores a influenciam em contexto pedagógico?

Summary:Currently, education has a very important and striking role in our lifes. Alarcão (1996, p. 55) warns us that for education, "fundamentally interested in real thinking, it is important to create attitudes that develop an effective thought in human beings, a mental posture to question, to problematize, to suggest and to build from there A knowledge based on solid bases. " In this sense, the present work seeks to understand the importance of motivation to learn from students who attend primary school as well as the factors that influence it in a pedagogical context. For this study, we adopted an interpretative paradigm and developed an exploratory study structure. The participants of this study were twelve primary school teachers that work both in private and in public education. We used the interstructured interview and the documentary collection, as data collection tools. Data processing and analysis were based on a content analysis. The results show that the motivation to learn is essential and that it can be influenced by several factors that contribute significantly to the academic success. They also illustrate several teaching-learning strategies used in the different curriculum areas as well as the importance of the parents role in their children motivation, in the teachers perspective.
