Écrivains plurilingues et étudiants de FLE

Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:Our research takes place in a writing workshop set up in a French as a foreign language program intended for multilingual students at the University of Toulouse. The students are invited to write echoing texts of multilingual writers, in particular when these express themselves on their relationship to writing in a language other than “native” and on their experience of migration. Through the personal narratives, the didactic intention is to induce a reflection on the conceptions of being a foreigner and using a foreign language, as well as on the process of writing itself. Being conscious of the links between languages could allow a speaker to make a better use of his plural repertoire. The investment in writing, no matter the language and the perception the speaker has of his or her academic ability in this particular code, could be strengthened.
